Teacher Enrichment Grant Application Information

The Carlynton Education Foundation will be awarding up to ten (10) $500.00 teacher enrichment grants during the 2015-2016 school year.  Grant applications will be reviewed by the Education Foundation committee and projects will be funded by the Foundation based upon their educational merit.

To apply for a grant, please complete the attached form and email it to Lisa Rowley at lisa.rowley@carlynton.k12.pa.us or mail it to Lisa Rowley, c/o Carlynton High School, 435 Kings Highway, Carnegie, PA  15106.


The Foundation meets the second Tuesday of each month and they will review any submitted application on a rolling basis.  Note: Applications must be submitted at least 6 weeks before the funding is needed. If the Foundation has any questions or needs more information, they will contact you. Please be as thorough as possible with your answers.

 Once the Foundation has reviewed your request, you will be notified in writing regarding their decision.

 Foundation grants cannot be used to pay for substitute teachers.

All grant awardees are required to submit to the Foundation a summary at the conclusion of the project.  It is preferred that photos and/or video summaries be submitted.  Written summaries will also be accepted.  Summaries of completed projects will be published via the Foundation’s website to promote the Foundation’s mission and attract future donations.
